The village
Cetona climbs in concentric circles around its fortress, at the foot of the wooded mountain that shares its name. Its grand piazza, stone-paved lanes and wisteria-draped walls make it one of southern Tuscany’s most beloved villages — and a perfect base for the Val d’Orcia, the thermal springs of San Casciano dei Bagni, and the art cities of Siena and Orvieto.
Guests say
“The location is central and minutes from the square. It was quiet and peaceful and an exceptionally lovely place to stay.”
